This is gonna be short and sweet. Short because that's how little time I have working 10+ hour days 6 days a week, and sweet because that's what everyone at the new digs thinks of Miss Stella.
Stella has now totally settled in. She's out of heat, the mare next door is no longer ready to take down the wall between them, and her and her new pasture buddy Levi get along great. Hugo, her other neighbor, has stopped charging the fence whenever she goes by. Everyone seems happy to chill out all day. I haven't done anything with because (surprise!) I simply haven't had the time. Just lots and lots of grooming.
Some photos of her first day.

She's freaking adorable, isn't she? She had to sniff everything and everyone that day and over the next few days. She's relaxed now, probably more than I've ever seen her. The only thing we have to be careful of is when we feed out hay: Levi is a bit of a bully about food and will easily chase her off a hay pile. He has a slow feeder and Stella has a hay net and if he figures out it's easier to get hay from the next he'll bully her away. She gets locked in for a few hours in the morning and the evening around feeding time until everyone settles, but she's been a doll. And everything thinks she's super cute, of course. :)
She looks fantastic. I'm excited for the next chapter of your lives together!
