Yes, Stella discovered today that she can, in fact, turn right with softness in her neck and body (as opposed to what she likes to do, which is drop everything and bank like a drunk guy on a Harley). The left is good, the left has always been easier. But now she's started to become uneven in her shoulders: she's picking and holding herself with her left just fine, and building muscling nicely. The right has some catching up to do, and that will only be solved when she starts to really hold herself through turns. It'll take time, but I got a few moments of it today (albeit, a couple times through gritted teeth as a bumped her with my inside leg on a small circle, squeezing a softening with the inside rein to encourage her to step off it...)
Do I need pictures? Yes, I do. Stella's gaining muscle now (I KNOW, it's been such a long time coming) but I need to hire a photographer, or at least someone to play one, in order to get pictures worth posting. Maybe boyfriend will have a new job this weekend when he comes to visit, hmm....
