Lottery

I fly back to Vermont today around 4PM, so I thought I'd check the weather forecast to see what it would be like.

As our introduction to April, there is a severe storm warning in effect starting Thursday night all the way into Friday night, with 100% chance of snow throughout the state and 7-14" predicted in higher elevations (AKA where the college is...).

*****.

So, I propose a new idea to deal with this incumbent weather: I win the lottery (or am gifted a very large sum of money from some rich good-doer or long-lost relative), uproot the entire barn and set it back down somewhere warm(er) and sans snow or the potential for snow. Either that, or I build a giant weather-proof dome over the entire town so that the 6 months out of the year that it's cold, we have temperate weather with no snow, ice or other yucky weather.

Yeah, I wish. I will have a lot of shedding to catch up on when I get back. That I'm OK with. I'm NOT okay with more snow. I have a feeling Stella will not be either (Ernie doesn't really care, to be honest. Stella, however, has had enough and her attitude the past few weeks makes that very obvious...)
